Mealy Blue Sage

The Mealy Blue Sage is in the scientific classifcation  Lamiaceae.

Its scientific name is Salvia Farinacea. 

It grows all over the United States, and all over  Texas.

This wildflower is easily grown in southern parts of Texas.

Its color goes dark to light. It grows mainly in March though November, and is as tall as 1-2 feet

The flower prefers to grow in sandy or gravelly soil in full sun .suggested uses are borders, meadows, cut flowers, and mixtures.
